2024 Updates
Jul. 2nd, 2024 05:17 amIn my last entry, I thought I'd never find a Tender Too. Well, I did. On Facebook's marketplace, once again. I got him last September.
My focus toward the end of the year was on getting my dolls cleaned and sealed with Mr. Super Clear UV-Cut. I still have many dolls to go. I hit roadblocks with more job changes, then unceasing rain for the first half of this year. I also wanted to take the time to enjoy the dolls I already cleaned. The last big thing I did with my dolls, until recently, was dress everyone up for Christmas.
I was actually, truly, cramming for some crazy-hard IQ-type aptitude test for a job application, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I took a break from that to dress up the dolls I had already cleaned, sealed, and re-strung, in festive clothing.
Shelley wore a cape and pantaloons from a "Snow Queen" porcelain doll I had bought some time ago. Ophelia wore a dress I made for Willow over a decade ago and a Christmas necklace from Sam Moon. In the photo below, she's holding a nutcracker Christmas ornament I've had since childhood.

Aubrey wore a nightgown I made for him and some socks with paws that are actually chair socks from Daiso (not pictured).

Josette is wearing a dress I made for her at the same time I made Willow's Christmas dress (worn by Ophelia in the first photo). Bryony is wearing a beautiful hanfu in blue and green jewel tones that seemed appropriate for the season.
