CD Collection

This morning, I catalogued my CD collection. I was inspired to organize it after reviewing my online subscriptions and cancelling many of them, including YouTube Music. YouTube Music made it easy for me by starting to mix in AI-generated artists and bands alongside what I like. 

This is one small piece of puzzle, but one more way to resist unwanted AI and enshittification.

I was surprised by how many CD's I actually own. There are definitely some different eras represented.

I don't feel worried about where to get more music at the moment, because I feel like I have so much.

Please comment if you have any of the same CD's I do. Or even artists. I would love to know.

I have Moby's "Play" and Enya's "Watermark" and A Day Without Rain" too! I keep all my CDs listed in a little spreadsheet. And I used to use Spotify but have stopped using it since the ICE ads. I've heard there's a ton of AI slop on there too now. I listen to music through CDs or a little MP3 player :)

That's awesome that you have those CD's too! They are among my favorites.
