Before responding to a post on
allkindsofdolls asking about 2026 doll goals, I had to do some brainstorming. There are a lot of doll-related things I need to do, such as sew from patterns and books I have, clean and restring dolls, organize dolls and clothing (so, so much organization needed). However, I don't have any enthusiasm to set a goal to do those things, especially since I have lots of other non-doll things I need to do and keep up with. I'm sure I'll do some of that stuff in the next year, but it doesn't fill me with passion.
After some thinking, I realized I do have a real passion to rehabilitate my two most neglected dolls. They have not been fit for posing or photography for many years.
My Doll Leaves Lilith, Glynnis, was played-with a lot years ago. I've had her since 2014. After her face-up was damaged, I got her a new face-up, but I did not care for it. The colors don't look good with her yellowed white resin, and I am not a fan of heavier eyebrows or lots of shading.

For Glynnis physically, I would like to get her a new face-up from Dollmore (messaged them today, fingers crossed), at least one new wig, and make her a new wardrobe of outfits. I will also thoroughly clean, seal, and restring her body.
Glynnis's character is very detailed. She has a part in my Forest Violets (1790s France) storyline, and she has a contemporary character as well. In addition to her physical rehab, I would like to focus on putting Glynnis's stories into her profile and on my
porcelainmeadow journal.
My Volks Kurenai, Lorien, is a doll that I wanted so much in the old days, since I am a huge old school Volks fan. She arrived as a head with a grimy face-up and has never been significantly photographed or played-with since I got her in 2019. She has an Angel of Dream body that has become floppy and dirty over time despite never having really been used. I want to get Lorien a new face-up from Dollmore, a couple of new wigs and eyes from Volks USA, and I want to thoroughly clean, seal, and restring her body and make her a wardrobe. Unlike Glynnis, I have never sewed anything for Lorien.

I also want to put Lorien's profile into this journal and post her stories on
porcelainmeadow. Even though I have barely ever interacted with her physically, I have written about her, and she has a developed character. She has a part in my Garden of Virtues storyline.
