Life Notes:
Taking supplements. Getting up every morning, even though I'm so tired. Took two Aleve this morning, and my head is still throbbing. But it's not a good time to take a sick day, and I'm going to be off for a week and a day after Friday. I'm trying to hang on.
I've been working in my writing folder for the past two days, and that might be why I have a headache and feel extra tired. I found a story yesterday that looked promising, and I wrote out how I would finish it. Ignoring my writing feels like I'm betraying an important part of myself, but taking it seriously leads to this extra strain. I'm not sure I have what it takes to really sit down and focus on a story for an hour or two each day. I have 15 minutes here and there that I use for re-acquainting myself with my old stories and taking notes on them.
I'm not sure if I'm skipping my period this month, or if it's coming later. It's a bit of a distraction to keep wondering, expecting it every day. Perimenopause is hard, but at least I'm not experiencing the stuff I experienced a few years ago.
